The first question should be "Why be a Rotarian at all?" The best answer to that is to explain who is a Rotarian. A Rotarian is person who wants to do more than talk about how to make our world a better place but wants to actually do something about it. Rotarians don't just send money to areas of the world that are experiencing hardship, they go and provide the help they promised.
Rotary is a group of like-minded individuals who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations and help build goodwill and peace in the world. No one person can do this alone. By joining the Rotary Club, you become a part of this effort and are able to accomplish greater things than you would ever be able to do on your own.
